This is a new position in the Audit Unit that will report to the Deputy Director of Audit Strategic Planning. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is interested in auditing and strategic planning. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Maintain a work plan for the Audit Unit and ensure deadlines are met. - Aid in the planning of each new election cycle and ensure that the templates and procedures are updated, and deadlines are determined. - Standardize all audit processes. - Develop a long-term strategic plan for the Audit Unit. - Learn and maintain a working knowledge of the audit process to be able to understand the work when planning. Essential Skills - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both verbal and written). - Efficient and effective project management skills. - Ability to track numerous deadlines. - A strong work ethic, meticulous organization, and attention to detail. - Background or interest in auditing. - Background in strategic planning and/or caseload management. - Experience in documenting procedures. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of experience as described in “1” above; or 3.
