Be part of our movement, let’s pursue excellence together.  Summary:  The Manager, Trade Operations is responsible for trade relations including managing the day to day activities of the third party logistical provider, collecting data and performing analytics across all channel customers (wholesaler, distributor, retail/specialty pharmacy, HCOs, hospitals). This position will be responsible for reviewing sales and chargeback data to ensure alignment to contracts, eligibility and compliance with the company’s chargeback policy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Timely load pricing at wholesalers and 3PL; 
  • Review sales and chargeback transactions to ensure alignment to contracts, eligibility and compliance with the company’s chargeback policy; 
  • Ensure customer sales occur within terms and conditions of negotiated agreements and provide timely solutions to any issues that may arise; 
  • Responsible for management, mapping and analysis of EDI 867 sales & EDI 844 chargeback data to validate customer contract purchases; 
  • Timely resolve chargeback issues with wholesalers and customers associated with pricing, membership, and eligibility; 
  • Facilitate the timely resolution of issues associated with accounts receivable aged outstanding balances, including working with third party logistical provider (3PL) and internal stakeholders to address issues such as short payment, unauthorized deductions, aged outstanding balances, and unapplied/open credits; 
  • Approve and monitor sales returns ensuring compliance with policy and return for credit reflects appropriate discount price paid by customer; 
  • Identify appropriate metrics and tracking to ensure the right execution and success; analyze procedure volume, trends, growth, for the distribution channel; 
  • Responsible to work closely with cross-functional teams to provide appropriate data and reports to support accruals at quarter end and year end; 
  • Maximize process efficiencies, ensure processes have effective internal controls and meet business needs on a timely basis. 
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have supervisory responsibility.  Interaction:   The incumbent will work closely with Commercial Operations & Analytics, Finance and National Accounts. Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university 
  • 5+ years relevant experience in channel management and/or trade distribution, experience with chargeback processing preferred

  • Demonstrated strong understanding of distribution processes and chargebacks  
  • Advanced MS Office including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills  
  • Proven ability to analyze data and monitor wholesaler patterns and sales to drive incremental business  
  • Effective presentation skills to audiences of diverse sizes and to all levels of the corporation  
  • Ability to maintain a positive professional attitude and work well in team environment 
  • Keen attention to detail and a conscientious and professional work approach. Must be willing to work in a fast paced, critical situation environment and solve problems with a sense of urgency 
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
