Purpose and Scope of Position:
Enterprise Systems & B2M Integration Sr. Engineer supports the successful operation of manufacturing and business functions at multi-use sites through interaction with internal team members, peer and higher level customers as well as external service providers. The individual supports multiple IT projects/systems and ongoing work activities of moderate to high complexity. The individual will answer questions and resolve Intra-systems integration issues for manufacturing and manufacturing support staff.
Reporting into the IT organization the candidate will be primarily responsible for Supporting the integration between enterprise and site manufacturing and lab systems and manufacturing systems integrations.
The candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in pharma/biotech with specific expertise in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality System disciplines. The candidate needs to have an understanding of shop floor activities, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), electronic change management, and process automation in addition to prior manufacturing enterprise systems support.

- Knowledge of IT Enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dell Boomi, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Blue Mountain RAM, IBM Maximo, LIMS, Syncade and Veeva.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Systems integration.
- Knowledge of cGMP, GXP, GAMP, SDLC regulations, including 21CFR part 11, and good documentation practices.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical, manufacturing and laboratory systems and equipment that support Biologics and clinical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of IT service management platforms to support incident, problem and change IT operational events (i.e. ServiceNow).
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated success working in a high-performing, business results-driven environment.
- Understanding of computer system validation.
- Familiarity with MES systems (i.e. Emerson Syncade), DCS systems (i.e. Emerson DeltaV, ERP systems (i.e. SAP or Oracle), EBRs (i.e. InfoBatch) and Historians (i.e. Aveva PI).
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or MIS discipline preferred.
- Must have experience with Manufacturing IT Enterprise Systems and Systems Integration.
- Must have 6+ years of hands-on experience in a biotech manufacturing and supply chain environment.
- Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing domains and supporting technology including manufacturing and supply chain ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP).
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and how they relate to existing and new business systems and practices, primarily GxP.
- Sound understanding of Electronic Batch Records (EBR) and Review by Exception (RBE).
- This person will help the business understand the impact and value of systems within the Cell Therapy landscape.
- Review and collaborate with the enterprise Digital Capability Manager (DCM), Technical System Owner (TSO), Business System Owner (BSO) and enterprise in understanding maintenance, planned outages, unplanned outages.
- Maintain the Business Continuity Plan for IT. Understand and own IT actions to maintain the business and keep plans up to date.
- Support multi-year transition and synergy between Jump, Celgene, and BMS.
- This person will help site to move to SAP ERP system from Oracle EBS.
- Understand the business needs and own the site's enterprise roadmap for IT.
- Align the site on future IT integrations.
