<li>Master's degree in Biology from an accredited institution with a major in biology or a related biological science sub-field or Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in biology or related biological science sub-field. Ph.D. preferred.

<li>Minimum three (3) years demonstrated excellence in classroom/laboratory teaching experience at the community college level is required. 
</li>
<li>A background check for the successful candidate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of current teaching and learning strategies to facilitate student-centered learning; experience interacting successfully with academically and culturally diverse student populations. 
</li>
<li>Skill in using technology in instructional methods and for maintaining academic and performance records. 
</li>
<li>Ability to teach classes using various instructional delivery methods at any of the six locations. 
</li>
<li>Ability to communicate written information and ideas effectively.</li>
