Provides administrative and clerical support to the DSCC Henry County Center.
Working Conditions:
Sedentary: Deskwork; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities. Normal range of movement required. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Serve in a receptionist role while supporting various administrative functions of the Center.</li>
<li>Complete payments from students.</li>
<li>Assist students with library access including checking out books, computers, calculators and making student IDs.</li>
<li>Maintain Zoom courses for students at the center including troubleshooting equipment.</li>

<li>Collect tests and other course materials for faculty when necessary.</li>
<li>Provide support services to faculty and students.</li>
<li>Utilize the Banner software program to assist students with student enrollment and registration needs.</li>
<li>Provide accurate information and pertinent forms relating to all Admissions Office and Business Office requirements in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Assist students with the registration and priority registration processes for credit and noncredit courses.</li>
<li>Assist with planning and completion of community events.</li>
<li>Assist with Dual Enrollment at the local high schools when needed, including acting as a substitute in the classroom when needed.</li>
<li>Manage office technology, i.e. copiers, fax machines, telephones, etc.</li>
<li>Assist with establishing and maintaining classroom schedules and other room assignments.</li>
<li>Process key requests for faculty and staff.</li>
<li>Lift and move equipment and furniture.</li>

We represent survivors in evictions and housing authority hearings, advocate for survivors who need to flee their homes for safety reasons, develop affirmative impact litigation in federal and state court, train domestic violence and sexual assault advocates about tenant rights, and lead local, state, and federal law reform efforts aimed at improving the housing rights of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Part time faculty are hired as needed on a semester-to-semester basis and typically teach up to nine credit hours during the semester. Columbia State offers classes at five campuses: Columbia Campus, Williamson Campus, Lawrenceburg Campus, Lewisburg Campus, and Clifton Campus. Columbia State also offers classes at several off-campus locations and clinical sites.

Part-Time Faculty Duties and Responsibilities
The part-time faculty member reports directly to the dean for assignments/duties and is responsible for:

<li>Beginning and ending all classes as schedules.</li>
<li>Organizing, assigning, and supervising learning activities of students in his/her classes.</li>
<li>Maintaining academic standards and classroom behavior to ensure an environment conducive to learning. Evaluating students using a variety of methods and for informing each student of scores received on each assessment in a timely manner.</li>
