JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThe Manufacturing Staff Accountant will be responsible for all accounting activities supporting the manufacturing operations including adherence to GAAP with financial analysis, reconciliation, journal entries, and standard reporting. This position will be partnering with factory operations to ensure compliance with costing and accounting activities.JOB DESCRIPTION<ul><li>Financial Accounting: Compiles and analyzes financial information in preparation for entry into various financial statements and accounting reports and makes appropriate journal entries for recording in the general ledger by checking calculations, reviewing the basis for figures, and balance reconciling figures.</li><li>Cost Accounting &amp; Budget Management: Maintaining budgets for factory operations. Completes various forecasting and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of job cost reports. Assist leaders in effectively managing budgets.</li><li>Project Abstract: Develops a general understanding of the underlying agreements and investment materials for assigned projects Works to become familiar with specific sections that are relevant to better understand the overall structure, including commitments, cost classification, and project fees</li><li>Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain professional communication with all internal and external project stakeholders. Ensures customer satisfaction by responding to various requests from external investors, lenders, and others related to financial reports.</li><li>Cast Management: Accurately and timely manages all assigned cash accounts. Performance monthly bank reconciliations, wire transfers, deposits, and other related financial reports and projects.</li><li>Collaboration: Establishes and maintains professional communication with all internal and external project stakeholders. The Department of Psychology at Dickinson College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology beginning Fall 2025. Area of specialty is open. A human subjects research suite and ample lab space are available to support the successful candidate’s program of research.The successful candidate will teach courses in the field of clinical psychology: Psychopathology, Research Methods in Clinical Psychology (with lab), and an upper-level seminar in clinical psychology; the focus of the latter two courses will lie in the candidate’s area of expertise. The candidate will also teach, on a rotating basis with other psychology faculty, Design of Psychological Research (with lab) and a First Year Seminar. Teaching load is five courses per year, and research methods courses with labs count as two courses.Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. We expect a strong commitment to teaching in a liberal arts environment and the ability to involve undergraduates in research. Our largest classes have a capacity of 35 students.
