We are a small theory group that works closely with our empirically oriented colleagues: we are thus especially interested in scholars whose research speaks to pressing political problems, including but not limited to racial and gender-based justice, environmental justice, global justice, democratic erosion, populism, protest, and the political and ethical challenges posed by AI and other emerging technologies. Duties will include teaching assigned courses, conducting research, writing for publication, advising students, participating in department and program governance, and university service.
