Basic Purpose:

The Sr. Customer Insights Analyst works closely with the Hain Sales, Marketing, and Category Management teams to develop and communicate fact-based analysis and insights to support Hain’s category solutions and drive profitable topline growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage insights from of a broad range of data sources including Stratum, Market 6, Circana, Spins, and other customer insights tools to develop selling stories, category reviews, and business reviews.
  • Act as a category subject matter expert for Hain’s Kroger Account Team as well as the Kroger Grocery and Drug/GM merchandising teams, possessing a deep knowledge of categories and category strategies at Kroger.
  • Understand the national Hain category/brand strategy and tailor solutions for Kroger.
  • Create, prepare, and issue weekly & monthly scorecards to ensure visibility and alignment with corporately assigned KPIs.
  • Conduct space/sales analysis to optimize Hain SKU/shelf presence across all Kroger divisions.
  • Complete post promotion analysis to evaluate merchandising event effectiveness.
  • Support the strategic direction for the Kroger Sales team as well as the Hain Category & Shopper Insights department through data analysis and opportunity assessments.
  • Actively initiate and manage key category projects in conjunction with the Kroger sales team.
  • Work closely with the Kroger Sales team to implement winning solutions that capitalize on market opportunities and/or solving customer issues.
  • Identify key competitive initiatives and communicate implications broadly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years combined practical experience in category management, shopper insights and working with syndicated data
  • Strong working knowledge of syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, Spins), Market6, and consumer data (Stratum, Panel)
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Experience analyzing data & translating to recommendations
  • Ability to develop and deliver sales presentations
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas
  • Excellent planning, analytical / problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities, & strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No direct reports.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $101,000 -$120,000 (commensurate with experience and location)
