Project Manager CMS (Supply Chain Risk Management - DMATS)
Overview
LMI is seeking a Project Manager to join our Health & Civilian, Public Health team supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent delivery to our clients. This involves leading and developing our team of supply chain, risk management, data science, training subject matter experts and ensuring customer happiness.

Responsibilities
- Foster positive working relationships with team, client personnel, and leadership counterparts
- Lead a cross-functional team, and support overall staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, execution, and retention
- Manage complex projects ensuring that goals, requirements, and outcomes are defined to ensure excellent execution
- Coordinate and monitor team performance to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion and are of high quality/accuracy; when appropriate, propose a plan to correct any variances and adapt to an agile environment
- Ensure established project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project’s development and execution
- Leverage leadership skills to assist teams to raise their performance, removing blockers team success and when necessary, provide employees with corrective action plans to improve performance
- Identify and create efficiencies and bring innovation in current project to streamline efforts
- Prepare monthly performance and financial reports, and ensure accurate invoices.
- Ensure team is fully staffed at all times
- Facilitate other client meetings as needed
- Support business development and bid and proposal efforts for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define a solution that meets and exceeds client expectations
- Work with LMI and LMI business partners to pursue new business opportunities
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant business, technical, or professional, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in supporting cross-functional teams and engaging with leadership at various levels within an organization
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong technical writing skills to clearly, logically, and succinctly communicate project-related information to multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, and have strong oral and written communication abilities, with strong conceptual and systems-thinking abilities and problem-solving skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to build future leaders and elevate performance
- Demonstrated ability to optimizing staffing and implementing process improvements
- Must hold TS/SCI clearance

- Master’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in supporting cross-functional teams and engaging with leadership at various levels within an organization
- Experience running projects of a similar size and scope
- PMP Certification or other equivalent certifications
