The Division of Nephrology in the Department of Internal Medicine University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine is seeking a full or part-time Clinical Assistant Professor. Successful candidate will participate in the patient care and teaching missions of UI Healthcare. Clinical research and scholarship activities are encouraged but not essential. Compensation includes University-approved base salary and generous productivity-based bonus.

Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent and have completed a Nephrology Fellowship and advanced Kidney Transplantation Fellowship from accredited training programs.  General nephrology training and board certification or eligibility in relevant fields are required.  Also required are eligibility for licensing in Iowa and authorization to work in the United States.

Additional training in nephrology subspecialties such as transplantation, critical care nephrology, interventional nephrology or glomerulonephritis while not essential is desirable.
