Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. Must be able to sit at a computer and able to walk a distance of .5 miles.
Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Primarily days, evenings and weekends could be required due to workload. On call schedule rotation.
Job Summary
The ITS Inventory Logistics Coordinator will be an integral part of the ITS Warehouse Team, which supports the Networking and Telephony operations of University of Kentucky Information Technology Services.
The ITS Inventory Logistics Coordinator will receive, assign, and maintain inventory for work orders and incidents, maintain records relating to material movement activity, inventory files and asset management. In conjunction with Inventory manager, this position will engage with vendors and UK Project Managers on JIT initiatives to drive value, efficiencies, and cost savings. Assist with implementing continuous improvement initiatives with UK vendors related to warehouse space utilization and inventory processes. This position will manage surplus inventory and disposal, maintain network spares tracking spreadsheets, ensure accuracy and transparency and assist team members or fill in when necessary.
