Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

You will work an intelligence agency organization that is responsible for accelerating innovation and making sure teams have the tools and techniques they need to operate in a modern, connected world.  From cybersecurity to IT infrastructure, this organization is responsible for providing technology and other training to keep staff on the forefront of the digital landscape.

For this organization, you will be responsible for end-to-end instructional systems design for a variety of courses on leadership, technical and professional skills topics.  

On a daily basis you’ll be leading the strategic and tactical elements of course design and development to deliver innovative training utilizing industry ISD standards such as ADDIE and SAM for instructor-led, scenario-based and web-based training. 

You’ll support the transition of in-person training to virtual learning content and will work with service delivery teams to develop training for a new capabilities.

To ensure the quality of programs delivered, that they are meeting stated objectives, and are up-to-date with established policies, you’ll design and conduct course evaluations and curriculum review to update courses upon completion.

Qualifications

Because this position is responsible for an important program within the IC, as an ISD you’ll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional systems design, training, human resources development or related field
  • 8 years of experience in instructional systems design, with approximately 5 of years of hands-on experience producing eLearning storyboards and other artifacts with eLearning development software programs such as Camtasia, Captivate, Storyline and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with online learning platforms such as Moodle and Blackboard
  • A track record of transitioning in person to virtual instructor-led or e-learning content
  • Proven experience as a self-starter who also works well with a team
  • The ability to multi-task and build strong relationships with customers
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
