About the role:

We are seeking an individual that assembles, operates, and troubleshoots machining centers that mill, bend, and cut parts to satisfy daily production demands.

What you will do:

• Runs a machine to make parts according to specifications; verifies important component dimensions.
• Examine the machine and its tools for wear and damage.
• Replace machine tooling as needed.
• Follow the daily production schedule to ensure proper sequence for the welding shop.
• Report concerns or material shortages to the plant supervisor.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload material on the machine and move components to different regions.
• Follow all safety and company policies and procedures.
• Inspects products to ensure they meet print specifications.
• Perform maintenance checks according to guidelines and report issues to your supervisor.

When & Where:

• This is a full-time position based in the Houston, TX plant.

What you need to have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• 1 year or more of experience in NC/CNC machines.

What would be nice to have:

• 1 year of programming experience.
• Experience with using metric measurement equipment.
• Certified CNC/NC Operator.
• Certificate of Completion for Overhead Crane and Forklift.
