Job Summary
UK HealthCare is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Associate Vice President (AVP)/Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Health Affairs and Chief Financial Officer, the AVP/CRO will be the senior-most revenue cycle executive responsible for strategy and operations across the revenue cycle within a multi-tiered Academic and Community Medical Center.
This role oversees all aspects of the enterprise-wide revenue cycle, including front, middle, and back-end processes for technical and professional services. Areas of responsibility include Patient Financial Experience, Revenue Integrity, Utilization Review, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Coding, Billing, Denial Prevention and Management, Cash Management, Clinical Research Billing, Revenue Cycle Systems Applications, and Quality Assurance.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance executive with experience in an academic medical center or integrated delivery system and hands-on experience in a successful Electronic Medical Record implementation – is an exceptional leader with a track record of partnering successfully with leadership teams to transform revenue cycle into a competitive advantage and a differentiator for the organization.

A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business Administration or Management is required. Ten years of experience as a leader of substantial budgets ($40 million plus) and teams (150 plus). Proven track record of Electronic Medical Record implementation.
