The hiring range for this role is:  

67,240.00 - 94,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range andthis hiringrange may also be modified in the future. A candidate’s position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for annual bonusincentivepay.

The FEP PA Associate Consultant, Audit Solutions position is needed to coordinate communications to Plans on behalf of FEP Program Assurance (PA). This position will develop audit communications to Plans informing them how to prepare for changes in audit focus at the Office on Inspector General (OIG) and OPM Audit Resolution (OAR), How to protect their Plan against increased risk due to changes in OIG audit technique and OAR resolution initiatives. The Associate Consultant will develop, edit, manage, control, and distribute Plan Audit communications through a variety of channels including scorecards, memos presentations, newsletters, training, and BlueWeb content.

The Associate Consultant will work with PA subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, concise messages appropriate for target Plan audiences; Provide tactical support to PA staff to improve BlueWeb content;. Implement communication effectiveness improvement strategies.

Develop targeted Plan training and initiatives for Plan staff and other key stakeholders on audit programs and services in order to enable consistent communication with Plans. Summarize OIG audit reports to keep Plans informed of targeted areas identified by OIG.

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of protocols and processes for engagement, change management, and other audit activities.

Contribute to the development and implementation of consistent engagement tools as well as collaboration tools to improve document review process, workflows, and audit reports.

Assist in providing audit solutions supporting PA’s efforts to improve Plans’ ability to reduce Global Audits through effective communication.


Assist in providing Audit support as needed including but not limited to supporting BCBSA’s efforts to increase Plans’ communication on audit activity through responses to RFP and RFIs, strategy activation on priority initiatives and audit activity and measurement efforts. Frequent interaction with BCBS Plans on FEP Audit programs and services through various communication channels including memos, presentations, conference calls, BCBSA Conferences and individual meetings.

Provide information, data analytics, guidance and consulting support to BCBS Plans and their vendors, including day-to-day inquiry resolution.Edit, manage, control and distribute Plan communications through a variety of channels including memos, presentations and BlueWeb content. Consult with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, concise messages appropriate for target audiences. Provide tactical support to audit staff to improve BlueWeb content. Implement communication effectiveness improvement strategies relating to audits.

Assist in providing audit solutions supporting PA’s communication efforts to improve Plans’ ability to reduce Global Audits through effective communication.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of communication, marketing, related business experience or related coursework/internship

Experience working with external business partners

Healthcare, insurance or government experience in a related role preferred

Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills effectively communicate to varying audiences internal and external to BCBSA using various media platforms; ability to summarize complex information and develop clear and concise communications for various audiences
